Thank you for your interest in adopting a shelter pet. Please Read
What to Expect During Your Dog Meet & Greet
● A volunteer or staff member will bring you to the outdoor yards to meet the dogs.
○ Please note that we do not allow the public to walk through the shelter, as we prefer to offer a more personalized approach to help potential adopters find the right match.
● When you enter the yard, you will be asked to sit on the bench until the volunteer or staff member invites you to stand—this includes children.
○ If needed, we may ask that children remain outside the yard to ensure everyone's safety.
● We reserve the right to end a visit at any time if we feel it is unsafe for you, your family, or the dogs. Our priority is always creating the best match in a safe, calm environment.
● If you have another dog at home, we may ask that you schedule a separate dog-to-dog introduction. This allows us to provide enough time for a proper and positive meet-and-greet.
Please click the "Schedule a Meet-N-Greet Button" and choose a time that works best for you.
When you come in for your meet and greet please bring your whole family, including children and dogs.
Don’t forget to wear closed-toed shoes. If we have a successful match, a team member will assist you with the adoption process.
*Please note: All requests and appointments are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
