Shelter Statistics

Yolo County Animal Services wants our communities to understand the realities that we face and the impact that our citizens can have on increasing adoptions and decreasing euthanasia. One of the ways we accomplish this is by being transparent with our community about our successes and areas where we can improve. Together, we can do better.

We have made great strides in recent years regarding our lifesaving programs and we continue to evolve. None of this would be possible without support from our animal-loving community, foster parents, rescue partners, volunteers, local businesses and individuals. Animal sheltering is not just about animals; it is about animals and people, and Yolo County Animal Services will always strive to continue strengthening the human-animal bond.
